BSCOG Elders Board

The Church of God believes in the role of Elders in its leadership. According to the New Testament, elders are responsible for the primary leadership and oversight of a church.








Richard Dixon



Richard is originally from Bel Air, Maryland and a retired Coast Guard Veteran. He has been married to his wife Kathy for 14 years and has 2 Cocker Spaniels. He is an Ordained Minister and has been in ministry his entire life serving in many capacities. Rich earned his Doctorate in Pastoral Theology at Andersonville Theological Seminary and his Masters degree in Applied Biblical Studies from Moody Theological Seminary . He loves coffee, photography and camping.





Clark Hamblen





Clark is retired from the Continental Baking Co. where he was the plant manager. He is widowed after his wife's passing in 2015 and the father of 4 children, grandfather of 7 and great-grandfather of 11 children. Clark has been involved in street ministry in Massachusetts, a member of the Gideons for 35 years, and speaks English & Spanish. He is also a member of the Cherokee Tribe of Oklahoma and relative of Gold Record Musician Stewart Hamblen.






Michael Laura







Originally from Michigan, Michael has been married to his wife Aimee for 19 years. They have two teenage sons, Isaac and Jonah. Michael is the president and CEO of Streams Datalight Technologies. He is a sports car enthusiast, enjoys camping and the great outdoors and especially spending time with family.




Ken McElwain






Jason Provost


Originally from Des Moines, Iowa, Ken was married to who his wife for 57 years before her passing. He has two children, 2 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was the owner/manager/engineer of Kennco Mfg. for 30 years. He also worked with racing equipments for 17 years and farm equipment manufacturing. Ken traveled 47 of the United States, 8 Canadian Provinces, the Carribean, Central and South America.










Jason is originally from Naples. He is married to his wife Beth and they have two teenage children. He attended Edison State College and is an Operations Manager at Anixter. He also shares his home with the family dog and 3 cats. Jason loves roller coasters and sushi, but not at the same time!
